SEISSI not only host monthly events as listed on the calendar. They have hosted Scout Campovers; weddings; 4-H Campovers; and the Iowa Black Powder Federation State Championship Rifle and Pistol Shoot many times.
Opening of The New Range
The new range was built in a 6 week period of time thanks to many wonderful volunteers from the club and others who take a great interest in the club and what it offers the surrounding area. The first shoot to be held at the new range was the August 2004 Iowa Black Powder Federation State Championship Rifle Shoot and Pistol Shoot. There couldn't of been a more fitting way to open the range.

AwardsNot only has our club been proud of the many trophies and awards our YHEC Teams have received. Many of our Hunter Education Instructors received Governor's Awards from Governor Branstad, through the years of his term of office, for their unselfish dedication to teaching Hunter Education. We are just as proud of our instructors who have been awarded IHEA (International Hunter Education Association) awards for their dedication to Hunter Education. |
